The main aim of the Welsh Charter is to promote a strong Welsh feel in our school and to provide a range of rich activities that motivate the children to enjoy learning Welsh. We want to inspire our learners to use the Welsh language in all aspects of their lives. The Language Charter encourages participation by all members of the school community and the school community is encouraged to take full ownership of it. As a School we have won Bronze and Silver awards and are now on the journey to reach the Gold award. The School Council is key in leading and driving the Language Charter forward here at Ysgol Llechryd.
