Ysgol Llechryd has been a Fairtrade School since January 2017. The School is dedicated to supporting Fairtrade wherever this is possible.
During the time awareness of the purpose of Fairtrade was raised by hosting a Fairtrade coffee morning, purchasing Fairtrade resources where needed and embedding Fairtrade ideology in lessons and cross-curricular.
The Fairtrade steering committee is an important part of raising Fairtrade awareness in the School and more widely for the community.
